5 Cheap but FUN activities for children.

Lets face it, kids get bored so easy!
so I decided i need to sort out a few activities for Siiena as all i hear is 'im bored' which i totally cannot blame her as today was a boring day for me too!

Here are 5 activities that kids will love!

Chalk Spray

You will need:

1 tsp. washable paint
1 cup of hot water
1/2 cup of cornstarch
1 squirt of washing up liquid
Spray bottle

1. Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps.
2. Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid. Mix well.
3. Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. Watch your kids enjoy making designs and pictures on your driveway. After you let your spray sit a while it will separate. Shake it really well before you use it each time.

White Crayon & Water Paints.

This is a great way to tell eachother your feelings but in a fun way.
Write a little note to your child in white crayon and let them discover it by painting over it with water paints.
I love this idea!

Moon Dough.

What you will need:

Shaving Foam
&
Cornstarch
Food colouring (optional)

I hear you saying.. 'Is that all you need?'
Yes that is all you need! Amazing right?!

Add any amount of Cornstarch to a bowl and then put the same amount of shaving foam on top (you can add more of either to form a mould able dough)
Squish it all together using your fingers.
Add optional food colouring to add abit of colour.

Simple!

Homemade Bath Crayons.

What you will need:

glycerine soap
food colouring
ice cube tray

Melt glycerine soap in the microwave, add a few drops of food colouring. Pour into an ice cube tray and put in the freezer for about an hour.

Easy. Simple. Fun.

Glittery Play dough.

What you will need:

1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp cream of tartar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
glitter

Put all of the ingredients into a large saucepan, stir over a medium heat until the dough forms into a ball.
